The Davis Chamber Scholarship Foundation has invested in Davis since 1984, helping graduating seniors take their next step, welcoming new teachers to our schools, and giving local businesses a boost. Every dollar stays right here in Davis.
What we do
One Foundation, four programs, all funded by our community and local businesses.
Since 1984, over $40,000 awarded to graduating Davis seniors. Recipients are honored onstage at Celebrate Davis each May.
Since the 1960s, member businesses have welcomed new DJUSD teachers and staff with goodie bags every August.
Since 2022, $10,000 in no-repayment grants to help locally owned Davis businesses elevate and grow.
Our annual tournament at Wildhorse Golf Club turns a great day of golf into scholarships and grants.
Our Story
In 1984, the Davis Chamber created a $500 essay scholarship for a local student. Forty years later, that idea has grown into a 501(c)(3) Foundation that awards scholarships, welcomes new teachers, funds small-business grants, and hosts a charity golf tournament. It runs entirely on the generosity of our community and local businesses.
To our Davis students: we want you to know of our strong support and encouragement as you follow your path, whatever and wherever that may be.

Named for Jeremy Brooks, Chamber president in 2009 and a tireless champion of our scholarship and small-business programs. The 4th annual tournament tees off in April 2027, and every dollar raised funds Davis scholarships and grants.
